GORDON SMITH

LEAD PASTOR

Gordon began pastoring full-time in 2006, serving in Dewey, OK, Albuquerque, NM, La Junta, CO. He began serving here in Frankfort, IN in December 2018 with his wife and four children.  He received his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Nazarene Bible College in 2006, while receiving his M.A. in Theology from the University of Manchester (U.K.) in 2014.  He has enjoyed also serving in various other capacities, such as: LJFD Chaplain, LJPD Chaplain, NNU Trustee, teacher at Pioneer Christian, NBC Adjunct Professor, and​​ various District boards. He currently serves as Board of Trustees for ONU, the Northwest Indiana District Advisory Board, and as District NDI President.  He loves exploring National Parks, State Parks, and history with his family.  He also enjoys basketball (especially the NBA), painting, reading, and writing.  It is his love for people that motivates his ministry and fills his heart with gratitude!
